We’re on book 4 and being told about the people in the Naturals and their talents …… all stuff mentioned in book 1 🙄

Start with chapter 2, because the prologue and chapter 1 are literally the ending of book 3.

The ending to part 2 almost brought tears to my eyes .

Just finished part 1 . Love that we’re getting Helene’s pov as well . I think the challenge Elias is facing is a great added component . The Empire is a shit show .

One thing that I hate about this author, is the fact that she writes as if we have no memory. There’s no reason that this is book 3, we’re 40% into the book, and you’re explaining the importance of being washed every 3 days. This was an important element in both book 1 and 2, and the entire beginning this book. So why did you write a whole paragraph explaining it? We know!

The narrators to the audiobook are turning me off.

Up until about 30% , this book was boring as hell .

just finished part 1 . not sure how i like the character development of the main character . it felt like a drastic change in such a short period .

Read stories 1 + 2 : enjoyed 1 , bored with 2 .

The most annoying thing an author can do is repeat statements in every . single . chapter .

I’m interested to see where this goes , but so far , I’m bored .

I wonder if she had a word count goal for this book, because the way she constantly repeated multiple statements and phrases, I kept thinking that I must’ve double read phrase a paragraph because it’s like so confusing.
