Oh my god

I like the casual tone of the book.
Extremely well written so far

Honestly…
I just want to finish the series. I’ve not enjoyed the writing but I’ve been sucked in by the story. I need to see it through even though I really want to move on.

Man I am confused. You think there is goi g to be major action - then nothing. The plot twists are there but they are terrible attempts. But I did just shed a tear. I felt for char here.

I feel like the past couple of books in this universe are forced. This one is full of odd gaps, feels like it was filled in during edits. The space brothers are an interesting concept - but are forced and inauthentic to who you can tell they are supposed to be. It reminds me of a character profile for a screenplay - but expanded. I do want to know what is happening with Annabelle/Charlotte. What is her purpose?

I’m really trying to power through this book but I’m beyond disappointed. There’s a severe lack of character development. I get the sense that she had a word or page target, along with deadline, that she had to reach and just stuffed it with filler. Like there’s a story, but it appears after so many non-sense useless scenes. I feel like this story is missing so much.
