The Church is made real in those three ways

Day 11:
Takeaways-
-Whenever God sends his son, he always sends his spirit
-Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and the Church 7 weeks after Easter (known as Pentecost)
-Symbols of the Holy Spirit include water, cloud/light, fire, a hand, a finger and even fire
-The Holy Spirit is the sacrament of the Holy Trinity’s communion with men

Takeaways-
- Jesus precedes us into the Father’s glorious kingdom
- Jesus intercedes constantly for us as mediator who assures us the permanent outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
- On judgement day, Christ will come to achieve the triumph of good over evil
- Christ will judge each man according to his works and according to his acceptance or refusal of grace.

Day 10:
Takeaways-
- Jesus really did die and in death conquered the devil
- He opened heavens gate for those who had gone before him
- evidence in the tomb proves Christ’s body escaped the bonds of death and corruption.
- The resurrection is evidence of Jesus’ life and miracles
- Christ’s ascension marks the entrance of Jesus’ humanity into God’s heavenly domain.

- It was truly the Son of God who was buried
- Christ’s divine person continued to assume his soul and body in death (although they were separated through death) for this reason Christ’s dead body saw no corruption

- Jesus’ obedience to his parents shows holiness in daily life/family
- The temptation in the desert shows how Jesus triumphs over satan
- The Kingdom of Heaven was inaugurated on Earth by Christ, keys given to Peter
- Jesus went to Jerusalem voluntarily, knowing death was imminent

- Jesus is God’s word incarnate
- Jesus is true God and true man, for that reason he is the only mediator between God and man
- Jesus posses a divine and human nature that co-operate and are united into God’s son
- Christ has human intellect and will as well as divine
- The incarnation is the mystery of the wonderful union between divine and human nature in the one person of the word-Jesus

Day 7:

- The name Jesus means God Saves (the child born of Mary will save people from their sins)
- The title “Christ” means anointed one (God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit)
- To be a Christian, one must believe that Jesus is the Son of God
- The title”Lord” indicates divine sovereignty, to confess or invoke Jesus as Lord is to believe in his divinity

- it was through the Devils envy that death entered the world
- Satan and other demons are fallen angels that have refused to serve God
- By his sin, Adam the first man, lost God’s original holiness and justice he was given for all
men
