damn, and i liked her too

i have to admit i really like this premise! what a great first book to use with the new ereader!

this is at least the third time i've gasped aloud reading this /pos

this family tree is gettin all crisscrossed

i still can't believe there is a character named doctor mega

a bit dense on number of characters but fairly haunting. i'm having a good time!

i'm actually kinda spooked! this book does a great job of building up dread and suspense

it is just compelling enough to keep me reading, but i am finding parts almost gratuitously crass. we'll see.

something about the son is a bit fishy....

so many books i read now happen to have dual timelines and every one has the same problem: i care far more about one timeline than the other. this is my way of saying that though i feel for haven getting screwed over, i dont care much for or about her. mari, however...👀

delphine is going to keep this book from a perfect rating--MAN i do not like her.

i really like the snappy writing style here, even though i am not normally a first-person girl. decima is also a riot!

The actual plot is thickening, and I have a guess. I hope Beatrice ends up with Elle and neither of these silly men. One condescends constantly and the other repeatedly ditches her. Great options. I will be knocking an entire star off if she gets with either of them at this time, do not TEST me book.

Love Beatrice, love Elle and Lavina, looking suspiciously at Drake....yep, this is certainly a Beatrice Steele novel!

i'm so glad to be back in the mind of beatrice steele! writing style is witty as ever, hope she doesn't get with drake. experience, however, tells me....😭

here we go again!! i lost a friend recently, so how elizabeth describes her own grief brought me to tears 🥺 but i am intrigued by the new plot

if she gets with the fucking detective ive decided straights dont have rights anymore

100 pages to go and yet i know i'll miss it when it's done. this book is haunting me.
