It hasn't gotten any better.

I know it ends tragically, but gosh, what a colorful cast of characters.

I'm beginning to wonder why she carries on given the amount of complaining going on. The "Dear Sugar" gig cracks me up. She seems the last person in the world I should take advice from.

I love this sort of book, and am pleased so far.

So far, a soap opera.

I chose this book for the book club based upon positive reviews, but I am not getting it.

I guess I'll never be a foodie, but being as fond of food as JC was seems a bit hedonistic to me, and the amount of padding in this book makes in quite a slog. I hope it gets better.
