I wonder if I am too excited for and anticipating too much from this book 😂

And again, another book coming to me at a time when I am both ready to hear and need to hear. Good timing on a good book always feels so powerful and reassuring for me. Not rushing through this one!

This book started out interesting, but slowish- however, halfway through and I'm caught up in this story! I realllyyyyy just want to keep reading instead of taking care of the big pile of dishes in my sink 😭

Well this is fun & last night was fun meeting to discuss the first part at book club!

Tsh seems penning my thoughts yet again. I think the extent to which I would enjoy this book would be dependent on the season of life I'm in. It happens to feel pretty significant and relatable given we are coming up on a big move/ transition similar to what she is unpacking in the book.

First book of a new book club 🙌📚

A very short chapter called the "Ode to Baskets" brought a smile to my face and of course I had to share it with my husband who loves to tease me about my basket obsession 🤣

The restless part of wanderlust me is always drawn to this kind of book 😅

Enjoyed this book from the beginning but the last 30% has me truly glued 🤭

So far, loving Book #2 as much as Book #1 😅

What a brave author 💔♥️

So much to learn from Susan about what it means to be a parent/caregiver/guardian. And I just love spunky Ada, finding her way out of so much trauma and being transformed through nurturing and love.

Reading of the cruel atrocities committed towards new mamas and little babies while rocking my own baby girl in a safe environment is breaking my heart 💔 I think its important to engage with hard stories, but... It never gets easier

Good book, but I'm bummed because I think I would like it more if I loved the narrator 😏

Ok, going West in the 1800s was a crazy time. Its been awhile since I have read these stories from this era!

We've read two chapters. At each chapter title, I have, by default, assumed what the chapter may or may not address or suggest. Both chapters have surprised me (in a great way) and have not been predictable or cliche. 💃🥳
