If you’re going to zhuzh up a contemporary romance, I want its complexity to make me feel something or learn something new about a niche topic.
Instead, this book has forced unnecessary complexity by having too many characters to distract that it’s a cheesy contemporary romance.
Also, it is unbelievable that she is a physicist. There is nothing about her internal monologue that points in that direction.
