I’m obsessed with how a major problem for two of the three main characters is that they are physically attractive to others 😩😩🙌🏻 it must be SO HARD ugh

Rick Riordan really did something with the whole “monsters disintegrate but then return after a while whereas the demigods you kill stay dead” dynamic.

Adds a thoughtful layer to what is essentially a book for children. Maybe our enemies are human, too?

Pretty impressive how NONE of these books follow a linear pattern yet somehow our heroes still manage to get from A -> B without a car or being able to drive.

I’m amazed at just how little I remember from reading this series twice in middle school.

Started this today. Good stuff! The author came to speak to my class a few weeks back and KILLED IT, so I had to get my hands on a copy
