Olivia is right, he doesn’t love her. He fell in love with convenience, just like his dad said.

I think the author’s intention was for Colin’s dad to come across as an asshole but he made very very valid points. Colin DID pick the low hanging fruit to “fall in love” with. Olivia was convenient.

This has got to be one of my least favorite FMC ever. She is a hot mess.

Olivia’s boss discovers her lying and she immediately blames Colin for no good reason. Yes, this grown, successful man went to your place and employment, found your boss and told her you lied about having children in order to get hired. 🙄

150 pages in and there is neither romance nor comedy. Olivia and Colin have little to no friendship, they see each other in passing or for awkward interactions with Olivia’s brother present.

I’ve just been reading about Olivia stumbling and lying her way thru life. Her clumsiness is not endearing or cute. It’s annoying. Pull it together, Olivia!

This whole evil boss situation is so ridiculous because all Delilah needed to do was document instances of discrimination, abuse, retaliation, and witness statements and go to the state employment office or EEOC to report him. Keith is breaking numerous laws. But instead we get this juvenile pizza party with teenagers, 20-30 year olds and an executive trying to fix this.

Jackson having no backup plan for the most likely scenario of his mom not showing up to the girls’ event is so out of character for him. He doesn’t trust her and yet when she says she is going to the girls’ school event (which is extremely important to them) he doesn’t plan for the inevitable?

Really? The evil boss’ reason for hating Delilah is because everyone else loves her 🙄

Maybe it is just me, but the binging Chinese food to sex pipeline is not very hot.

Jackson went from “this woman’s personality is a major turnoff and triggering for me” to “I will do anything possible to get her to be with me” in 3 days.

idk.. if my boss was looking for any reason to fire me, I wouldn’t be making out with my coworker while waiting to broadcast a weather update.
