I’m learning so many things unrelated to opioids but relevant to their rise and epidemic—the auto industry, histories of resource production in the U.S.. I’m enjoying the way Quinones brings a small piece to the puzzle at a time, presenting many angles while weaving a few commons threads.

I’m reading this book for my psychology class on drug use and effects—a central theme of the class is the opioid crisis in America and alternate treatments and medicines for addiction.

I really dislike reading about trapping animals in a ring of fire so they either burn to death or run out to be shot by arrows.
