I am not a fan of this writer’s style of storytelling, and it’s making it very difficult to get through this book, but I’m determined to power through 💪🏽 it’s not a bad plot or premise at all, I just *really* wish the author didn’t narrate that way

I cannot, at this point, discern a single reason this book needed to be 300+ pages

Despite introducing another mechanic I dislike (multiple switching POV), it’s starting to pick up now!

The first-person perspective and present-time narration are a combination that I will be avoiding like the plague from here on out. I’d be making it through this book much faster if not for that.
