we are finally here!!! Reading Daisy Jones and listening to an audiobook for the first time! ngl audiobook is a good fit with the writing style.
So far, the story has been quite compelling and I'm invested!

I'm having so much fun reading!

Interesting start. even though the MC is an annoying lost bitch (still. After 5 fucking years like damn girl), I get it. I'm gonna be patient and just read her journey.
This better be going somewhere good tho

I started this on May 5th and I STILL haven't finished it idk why. It's just sexual fantasy after sexual fantasy and even though it's interesting to read and know how much others think about sex, it's also kinda boring? I keep forgetting that I'm reading this book💀💀💀

I don't know if I'm not in the right mood for this, or if the writing and the story feels truly blotchy and random.
I'm trying really hard to care about the story and pay attention to the detail but it's really hard!!

Okay the mystery is still obvious I'm kinda mad at FMC for not connecting the dots but I guess I get it. The writing and the vibes are pretty good and it's addictive enough to keep me reading and honestly? That's something not many people can pull off.

The question is whether I should keep reading or drop it. The mystery is boring as hell.

Two weeks of internet black out was a torture I would wish for my worst enemy. Who could've imagined the amount of agony it caused. Now, internet access is very limited. It's difficult to stay connected and it's much slower than before. Not much to be done there.
Tonight I got really nostalgic about the books I read as a kid. I started adding them. How I wish I could feel the magic the way I did back then.

Mind-blowing world building, very well written. I got to a point where I know things are about to get really crazy and messy and honestly given my current circumstances I had to stop reading. it was too stressful to handle.

There was a phone sex scene and it was so awkward???? Like, jfc I skipped most of it cause it was so... mechanical and emotionally empty. I also don't understand why Eileen and Simon aren't together already.

I keep waiting for something to happen. So far, Irina is a toxic narcissistic traumatized (even though she wouldn't admit it) person and I wonder how far she's going to go to take out her anger
