Okay the mystery is still obvious I'm kinda mad at FMC for not connecting the dots but I guess I get it. The writing and the vibes are pretty good and it's addictive enough to keep me reading and honestly? That's something not many people can pull off.

The question is whether I should keep reading or drop it. The mystery is boring as hell.

Two weeks of internet black out was a torture I would wish for my worst enemy. Who could've imagined the amount of agony it caused. Now, internet access is very limited. It's difficult to stay connected and it's much slower than before. Not much to be done there.
Tonight I got really nostalgic about the books I read as a kid. I started adding them. How I wish I could feel the magic the way I did back then.

Mind-blowing world building, very well written. I got to a point where I know things are about to get really crazy and messy and honestly given my current circumstances I had to stop reading. it was too stressful to handle.

There was a phone sex scene and it was so awkward???? Like, jfc I skipped most of it cause it was so... mechanical and emotionally empty. I also don't understand why Eileen and Simon aren't together already.

I keep waiting for something to happen. So far, Irina is a toxic narcissistic traumatized (even though she wouldn't admit it) person and I wonder how far she's going to go to take out her anger

I urged one of my friends to read faster so he'd catch up with and we could continue together (cause I need to talk about everything that happens to someone who KNOWS); now after a week and half, he's all caught up!! Yayyyyy!
Everything is such a shit show I can't wait to see what else is in store (and I'm a little nervous about each character's fate tbh😭)

I wanted to wait until until its tv series was out but damn I saw so much of Ilya in the other books I couldn't resist my curiosity anymore

I've been in a horrible reading slump lately 😭😭
It's as if the joy of reading has been sucked out of me. For a while, I couldn't read anything. Now, I leave books unfinished and start a new one. I don't feel captivated or excited about any of them. I feel like I'm reading them for the sake of reading, desperate attempts to reignite the fire I once felt. It's annoying the hell out of me.
