this book is really good, but i think i'm incapable of getting into classics (except for The Stranger)

i hate this book but i'm too close to finishing i can't stop now...

im excited to read this book but its mostly for the cover...

i'm kinda close to dnf-ing this but i really want to like this book 😭 it just reads sm like fanfiction and lucia is lowkey annoying

holly black is PISSING me off...

i'm so mad bc everything is so obvious and like i've already put everything together in my head but the characters haven't and it's SO FRUSTRATING OMG

this book takes place during the early to mid 1800s in britain, if your planning to read this i recommend researching the time period cause it gives you context which imo helps read and understand some plot aspects. the book does decent with explaining most historical references but i feel like its helpful regardless!!

LOOOVE so far, i feel like there's a climax building up...
