All I'm gathering so far is that Helena is a victim of everything she did to others at some point...

I don't think this book is for me. I can not find it in myself to care about any of the characters. I do not care or even understand the war. I'm in the flashbacks, but this just feels like dragging something out. The relationship between Helena and Ferron is very mercurial, and I'm getting tired of the push and pull.

I'm halfway and I honestly could not care less about this war.

It's getting a little bit better, but I still feel immensely lost in some aspects of the world building. Sometimes I feel like I'm actively trying to form connections to the HP universe, even if I've never read any of those books, solely because I know that this was a fanficton about it, and I just want to understand who is who and what is happening 😫

I'm finding the world building very complex. I hope this gets better for me because reading something that makes me feel like I have no clue about what the hell is happening all the time is not fun at all.

I can't describe the amount of joy that reading an Ali Hazelwood book does to me. This woman is dangerous for my levels of delusion and my maladaptive daydreaming because can why can't I just be a goddamned hot as shit snarky vampire that flirts with her sulking attractive vampire slayer?

79% percent in, and I'm still trying to find what's so interesting about this book... at this point, I'm just reading out of commitment tbh

I started reading this because I saw a lot of good opinions about the second book, and I'm sucker for reading series in order, but this has been a bunch of nothing strung together. I do not find it in myself to care about the war that's happening between the humans and the undines, and even if the two main characters are now able to communicate with each other, I still don't feel like we're getting something.

So, this is Stockholm Syndrome

This series is actually my second time reading something by Devney Perry, and I have to admit that I'm reconsidering trying to read The Edens series. I really like this writing style. In the beginning, I was a bit skeptical with the trope, but when you really think about the characters and what we know about them, it fits perfectly. I can't wait to see what else happens in the story.

This has been fun and full of adventure so far. I'm very excited to see how things continue to play out and how Jaren and Kiva get back together

At this point, either Kiva will switch sides, or the Royal Family is already onto her. Also, will Jaren or her just make a damn move?! Gosh

For some reason, I don't trust Jaren or any of the royal family.

It's good so far. I just hope there's a reason as to why Kiva is struggling to control her power so much now but in the past it never seemed to be an issue...

Fighting for my life not to fall into a reading slump. It's been fine so far, but I just don't feel excited when I think about reading it. I'll finish it, but sadly I don't think I'll be continuing the other two.
