I started the book then blinked 😂 easy to get started, and easy to anticipate the chain of events that will occur, but it’s good so you read it anyways type book.

Definitely not 99% done, there is still like 100 pages to go, but damn it is good right now.

Many trigger warnings; abduction, assault, rape, and hunting.
Nothing spicy, just a suspenseful story waiting for some relief for the primary character.

A two part narrative of the same story from both sides of the dark romance, is enticing. You want to keep reading and seeing the story unfolds from both of them, even if in the beginning it makes you question your morals, but it’s fine. Trying to keep myself from completing it too quickly, yet curious to see the cliffhanger and ready to get started on part II.

Finally something to make the read interesting but I’m still not into it. The Organ Broker, finally wanting to get out but finds himself in a challenging and difficult situation. Guilt is taking over but this instant is different. I am finding myself just wanting to finish it and not really interested in the story unfortunately.

Slow starting, I’m struggling to keep my attention on the pages. Waiting for some excitement or a twist.

Okay, I’ve looked to past the “messed up” moral aspect of it. And I’m seeing the difficulty this young woman has had to navigate a change without her parents who never loved her to now a “family” that loves her and her navigating emotions (physical and non-physical) after 18 years of having neither. Almost at the end, it’s a good read.

So definitely a wild adult content read. I heard a review on TikTok saying throw your morals out the door when you read this… they are correct. I think how it is written is what makes you just want to keep reading to know how it plays out, even when it’s vulgar and feels wrong to be reading in the first place.
