Yes I am still reading this…very slowly…

It’s big book summer. I am going back to my origins.

So far, good! Book 2 was tough because it was a lot of listing, but book 4 really brought it up for me. The war descriptions have started and two things impress me so far. 1.) This story is making me, someone in the 21st century, terrified of sticks and stones. 2.) the heart in the war scenes, actually full of grief. Simoeis’ part, very poetic and sad.

In love with the Marcela arch. I hope she lives happily and alone in that forest for the rest of time.
