i think i'm supposed to like isabelle over vianne, but i don't. vianne may seem submissive and weak, but that is her strength. she understands what's most important and knows how to protect it. she's seen what happens amidst conflict, and it's respectable for her to avoid it at all costs. isabelle, though dauntless, comes off as arrogant and childish. i think their dynamic is charming thoooo!
