Corvina is so thirsty oml and also the way this author has the only black woman in the story constantly saying “girrrll” and “for real!” feels problematic asf

i love how desperate and pathetic these men are. otherwise this book could have been so much more fleshed out in terms of the magic system. i’m not done yet but lowkey feel like i’m dragging through this last quarter after a boring middle
