This is like a really bad cringe romcom version of daisy jones and the six

Omg quarter rating update?!

Okay the first 30% I was obsessed with the prose but now I’m 50% and I’m revolted by the romanticization of mental illness in a social media aesthetic artsy chic I’m not like other girls kind of way and the moral ambiguity and how all the characters are doomed because of their own choices and actions and I want to like the book but it’s gotta chill

Have you guys ever felt the joys of listening to a nerd book while building nerd Legos? My life is peak atm

I went into this book blind without reading the blurb and I am SHOOK so excited to keep reading lmao

don’t question what I bring home from the library

Writing a report on human evolution in the fifth grade is the reason I am who I am today

Guys having a job is ruining my reading streaks 😭

Only two hours into the audiobook and I am ENGROSSED

7 hours of free therapy. This book is great.

Wowowowow so beautifully written - in another life I’d be an ecology girl

I’m not crazy about war books but ngl this is pretty good so far

My only takeaway thus far is to be rich enough to hire an assistant

“Every Monday, my assistant would reset the passwords on all my social media accounts, which logged me out on each device. All week I worked without distraction. On Friday, she would send me the new passwords. I had the entire weekend to enjoy what social media had to offer until Monday morning when she would do it again.”
