Something about Sally Rooney is she will always write the girl characters as off-putting and strange and LOWKEY CRAZY as possible and I really love it. She’s able to do it in a way that’s so passive that ends up amplifying the crazy... And how she writes the men as just wholly accepting of this strangeness like how lovely is that
