This really isn't that good but I find that I really enjoy it?

I am a hopeless romantic, but gosh this is so corny. I'm not sure if it's the translation (probably not in this case though), but the writing is so damn stiff

God how I love it when I decide to reread a book and it's still good (doesn't happen often)

OK I got past the 'saddest point' of the book and I feel nothing at all, honestly the first half was a lot more moving than ANYTHING past the second half

I think I finally figured out what my main issue with this story is and it's the fact that the language feels too modern for the story it is trying to tell
