idk if it has anything to do with it being Irish, but like my English abilities are really being tested while reading this

I forget how cringe the shatter me world is until I read a random page and cringe to the core (and I love it)

these past chapters have been a pain to get through, like hobb’s worldbuilding is so cool until she starts ranting endlessly about some huge magical scene that just makes no sense and is only further troubled with her long and somehow still vague descriptions. one moment I think I know what’s happening, and then she adds some other detail and I’m like ok wtf am I reading and where are we??

finished “elektra” last night and my god what a great experience that was, I never knew I could be so into Greek plays, but here we are. cant wait to read orestes.
