“Never mind that they had been Muslim houses of worship before the Christians came. Never mind that they had done the same to the mosques in Jerusalem, and worse.” 🔥🔥🔥

as horrible as it may sound, I’m so intrigued by the crusades. I think a lot of it also has to do with the fact that we did not learn about them in school—at least in my danish education system.

I’m still getting into luthi’s writing. he’s so clever, but sometimes i feel I’m lacking context/more description. sometimes it’s also hard to decipher which character is talking.

I cant believe we’ve reached an age where it’s possible to rate books with .25/.5/.75 stars

ITS HAPPENING

fomo and my friend’s insistence to keep going is keeping me from dnf’ing just yet

I might dnf

I’m in for a ride, arent I?

I’m a wreck

the payoff we’re getting in this book is so rewarding

I’ve read 78 pages of this today…I don’t even recognise myself (I cant stop reading, my heart is racing)

this book has consumed my every waking thought the last three days. I’m literally in shock. I cant believe what I’m reading…shaping up to be an amazing finale…

this book is gagging me every second waow

im so confused. what’s happening to me?? the last time a couple made me this giddy was during the daevabad trilogy and six of crows…althea and brashen literally have me in a chokehold (is this what romance readers have felt all along??)

THE PARALLELS BETWEEN ALTHEA AND AMBER AND FITZ AND THE FOOL OMG IM GONNA BE SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK

shatter me was ass, but it was still good, but so far watch me is just ass😭 if the og characters weren’t in it, i would not be reading this

guys, james’s pov is too cringe like it’s actually causing me pain

I’ve been fighting for a new fantasy read, but I give up. I’m just going to finish this trilogy before settling on anything else. at least I know this world already and that this book will be good.

omg james is so embarrassing like can he keep his horny self locked away pls this is so cringe

idk if it has anything to do with it being Irish, but like my English abilities are really being tested while reading this

I forget how cringe the shatter me world is until I read a random page and cringe to the core (and I love it)
