it's so nice to read a book on trans experiences in things that don't happen solely to trans people, but still recognize how being trans can shift how these experiences happen

I think it's good to read if you're a man who's never experienced misogyny. but it's painful to read as someone who's been a woman. like it's continually like "well men it's the women you know" and idk. I think its a good awareness to bring to the situation and a smack in the face that men need. but it's a little ignorant and makes it seem like it's more important about the man's experience with gender violence :/

I wish I could have finished this tonight. god, the drama of it all. despite it all, I want them together. I want them to make each other better.

I'm really relating to Percy. I never find myself relating to characters in romance books. I was a little unsure about the writing style at first, but I find myself leaning into it. I like the sporadic, as it comes to memory style. It's like I'm being told the story from Percy. it's nice.

so far, it's good. I find myself wishing for a bit more depth in the writing, like some of the moments seem fleeting. but I love the music, I love the analysis of songs, I'm loving the complications of the characters. I'm obsessed with the fact that there's a playlist to go along with this book. I'm excited.
