Just been informed that the book I just read is acc part of a series and my mum has all of them… get iiiin.

Been wanting to read this for a while then happened to be looking at my mum’s bookshelf and she had it because she just has every book ever apparently. She said prepare to be confused so… scared. But it’s set in Naples which is where my mums family is from yay! I think it’s gonna make me cry… idk why… we’ll see

I’m away from my bookstore so just rifled through mum’s bookshelves and she recommended this. I fear it won’t be as good as East of Eden (nothing will 😓) buuut gonna give it a go! Does look good tbf.

Yay! Been wanting to read this for ages!! It’s gonna take me approx 10 years to read cause it’s so long and I read at a snails pace but it will be worth it.

Guys I’m VERY excited to read this book. I even special ordered it into the bookshop so I didn’t give money to mr bezos and cause it felt more mysterious 😏 feel like it’s going to send me down an existential spiral and I am all for it.

I give up. I’m sure this book is good it was just completely lost on me I genuinely have no idea what’s going on and I’m sick of it, I’m not putting myself through it anymore. Anyways…. Think I’m gonna read kite runner in preparation for a thousand splendid suns which Abi and Holly have recommended. Onward 🫡

Really wanted to watch the film but never got round to it. Gonna do a classic read the book and then watch the film I think. I’ve heard the film is quite different to the book so will be interesting to compare

I watched the movie a couple months ago and it was incredible. So now I’m reading the book it’s based on hehe
