Just finished Petty Treason by Madeleine Robins and Cold Days by Jim Butcher. Enjoyed both, but Petty Treason was harder to put down. I like the Dresden novels, but it feels like Jim is bored. Too many "chases" & fights, not enough story. The "how-else-can-I-make-my-characters-suffer" approach cloys. Meanwhile, I'm just getting to know Madeleine's wonderful heroine, Sarah Tolerance & loving every minute of it.
