I was skeptical that I wasn’t going to like Game Changer as much as Heated Rivalry, but Scott and Kip are so cute together and I like that the dynamic and stakes are different for them than they are for Ilya and Shane

I cannot express how much I love this book or how much I enjoy the writing. Reminds me of how I fell in love with a certain rugby player 😉 and to capture those feelings is truly an art. I’m not quite finished with this book but I plan to read more of Rachel Reid’s work in the near future!

This book will probably end up being one of my favorites for the year, even though it’s only February. I won’t write a whole review now, but I did appreciate the below except and wanted to share it.

“God will judge us, Mr. Harris, by”—her voice broke as she thought of [spoiler]—“by what we did to relieve the suffering of our fellow human beings. I don’t think God cares what doctrine we embrace.”

Literally obsessed with this book but I’m biased because my mom is in it lol
Still a great read and fascinating to learn more about the boogeyman I grew up hearing about at the dinner table!

Please note that at 30% in, Tamsyn graced us with the first “oh fuck” moment. Every time I get chills.
