Candide was a slow start for me, probably because I’m not used to the dated language. I knew going in that was probably going to be the case, but the line about wanting to kill yourself but still clinging to life convinced me to try it out. Micromegas had me hooked more than Candide, to be honest. Still relevant and interesting.
