It’s February, the Olympics are about to start it’s finally time. I’ve been waiting a year so I could read this mess while watching Ice Dance mess. Let’s go!

“The wasteland may be dangerous” girl where? We’ve seen nothing dangerous happen since like chapter 2.

I guess it’s my fault for expecting some sort of plot in a post apocalyptic romance book.

Girl what do you mean you’re not speaking up about your unsafe living conditions and letting your parents drag you back there.

I’m having a good time with this because I’m reminding myself this is a ya thriller and there are messages about control here for young people. However If this was an adult novel I’m not sure I could handle how stupid all these characters are. Not a one of them even makes an excuse to do literally anything else?

I don’t hate this story but I’m struggling with motivation to pick it up and I think I’ve realized why. Things are happening around June and to June but she is pretty passive in her own story. Like do something, demand answers. Do anything.
