I'm most annoyed that the author seems to think that "eh" (a word we say in Canada) sounds like "aye" like a British person (or a pirate) would say meaning yes. Firstly - eh sounds like the letter A - and it doesn't mean yes. It means "to cite an opinion, to express agreement, to turn a declaration into a question, or to keep a narrative flowing" - I'd actually say "this book has really slow burn, eh?" (and it does)
