Re-read incomplete

Very interesting, but it’s a book that is best read than listened to, so I forget about it.

Can’t remember what this was about.

I only have 1.5hrs left, I should just finish it. Definitely not going to listen to the others in this series.

Another yawn…

Hate the accent… not sure I can finish this one, I can’t see it being worth it.

Didn’t like where this was going. Not sure if I will finish it, but it’s so close to the end.

Needed a break… will have to pick this up again at some point.

This is soooo slow, it’s filled with so much boring nonsense, will it ever go anywhere???? I think he ran out of ideas and just wrote a book with his random thoughts.

Flipping the roles or Sherlock and Watson is a very strange take for fan fic.

This one starts disturbingly…

Felt like I needed something different so revisiting the first law series, I have completely forgotten what happens in this. I mean I remember there is a lot of violence, but that’s about it. So it’s like going in blind 😅

Not likening this one as much as the first, too much about how flawed overly religious people are and how their ignorance causes them to create and then destroy their own religion.

Nearly finished with this one and it’s not going well. Characters lack depth, story and motivations don’t make sense and things are just done for convenience, … villains are overpowered, protagonist is useless, sidekick is annoying… people die all over the place, but since you don’t know them it’s not like you care. What’s the point of this book????

This is an interesting story and I like that it’s fantasy based on ancient Indian culture… but I keep expecting it to end, and it just keeps on going (and not enough happening).

The reviews don’t look promising on this… please be good 🫣

Just started this book, and I am a bit confused how Kaladin and Shalan are both in the same place as the start of the previous book. Over 40hrs of story and no progress, weird.

I am having really bad luck with books at the moment. The last one was sickening because the author had some fixation with rape. Now this one, the main protagonist has a miscarriage and the person that should be there supporting her tells her it’s good she lost it because she was probably cheating on him. Then another person calls her a slut and attacks her. All out of place and coming out of nowhere.

Why protect someone that ruined your career??? This protagonist is a doormat. She did I mention she annoys me???

I hate reading a book where the main character does stupid things on a regular basis. Urrgg this book is annoying!

Audible messed up the pre-order on this, but I finally have it :)

I couldn’t remember why I gave this book only 3 stars (considering the first two were so good), but now I remember… Renna Tanner! I hope her story arc is a good one, she just seems like a loose cannon, and I just can’t find anything to like in her.

This one is really dragging!

Why are all the females so useless in these books... Only the guys seem to have answers and have sense when everything goes wrong. Quite annoying actually, so many lead females, yet they all are silly love sick idiots.

Urggg Scarlet is the most annoying character ever...

And Prince Kai is not a good Emperor and he is not fair to Cinder either. I really hope Cinder doesn’t end up with him.
