Akbar bravely talked about death, religion, addiction, war, sexuality, and he freaking nailed it. I can’t get over how good it is. So many beautiful proses. And the ending was spectacular. Read it for book club and it did not disappoint!

I’ve never cried so hard in my life. This book broke me.

Not sure what the hype was all about. Not a lot going on with the plot, characters are bland, and the writing style… what was that? It tried to be unique but it ended up being confusing, lacking depth. Thankfully it was an easy read so it didn’t take up too much time.
