i’m so sorry to my book club but i think this is going to be the first book i dnf… it’s really cool concept and pretty but realistically too depressing for me rn the doom and gloom feels a little too real a little too close especially all the california natural disasters specifics…

so feminist i assumed the scientist speaker was a woman until i double checked when they mentioned a wife

there’s parts of this i really like and find intriguing and some that are starting to rub me the wrong way so let’s see how this ends up

only read the introduction so far and i’m obsessed it’s so my fav way to think about media i love reading books by smart authors!

i HATE rich people especially white men and the cops and justice system and women not being believed it’s such a hard read i am so engrossed duhh it’s good but god it’s frustrating !!

obsessed with this. flying through it i want to spend all my free time reading it and was instantly sucked in page one this is making me realize it’s not worth my time to push through books that don’t grab me since there are so many in the world that could!
