i thought i was gonna finish the book in once sitting but then my goat died #nooooo

guys….. i’m so seated. i literally showed up to the function early and the staff said “girl you still have over 100 pages left you can’t stay” and i replied “i can’t leave im too mf seated”

sadie should be able to hit everyone in her class with a car!

she should be able to send her classmates anthrax not just hate mail tbh

i’m in desperate need of a character map while reading because trying to remember all of these names is hard for me 😪

the 4th chapter was the most depressing of the bunch so far

the narrative structure is one i’m unfamiliar with. solemnly reading/rereading because i may be too dumb to understand this book in all its glory.

boldly haunting. i shall keep going.

we reading, learning, educating, etc.

i started the book on audible but i had to start reading it with my own eyes. so raw and upsetting and im not even too far in yet.

this book is kind of overstaying its welcome

all i know is that cora better not be fucking that old man

rue just died and i was crying i forgot how hard that scene was

celie & nettie have the most tragic backstories oh my gosh

more traumatic than the film

no thoughts just reading when i have time

there is romance finally but kinda scared to see what separates them

im bored but i will keep pushing through

i can already tell i may become emotionally distressed because of this book but who cares

nearing the end! i have a lot of thoughts but… ill save them for my final review.

strange yet i cannot put the book down
