I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I fucking love a side quest. And this is just a book of side quests and shifting perspectives—so naturally, I’m in heaven.
I also just got to Claudia Grey’s short story and her ability to write Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon and the Force is borderline magical.

We have entered the third act and I have no idea where we’re going, but I’m enjoying it!

I really love Wendell being cute as hell

I fear I have forgotten so much but I’m still enjoying it!

I found my first incorrect animal on page 108, and I’m thoroughly annoyed. Now I feel like I have to go back and do a lot of fact checking. The pros and the reflections and the stories are beautiful, but now I cannot trust her research in animals, nor can I trust the editor or the publisher. 😬

I didn’t really know what to expect from this book, but so far it’s so wonderful. The author writes a memoir in the form of essays with animal and plant facts woven in. Beautiful writing.

Okay so this is actually really cute. I have to be in a mood for a romance/rom-com and I think this is the perfect fit for where I am mentally. I enjoy the development of the characters. Their dynamic is fun! I may have to read more Tessa Bailey in the future!
