I had a little LABRINTH intermission but my God I am loving this book. It’s a good sandwich book for thrillers and I think gonna become one of my favorites. Please don’t disappoint at the end 🙏🏽

literally why did I get this book

Starting something else to switch because I’m not feeling Odyssey (I love it, just not in the mood) but I am still infused in a Greek mythology re-interpretation type world and I’m not sure if this book is what it’s gonna give. I also just want to be sat for a STORY and although I am in love with the writing of Twist right now, it’s too sexual and I need a little bit of a cleanse.

I’m a little mad because he already confessed his love and it’s been weeks…… we still got bout 300 pages left… I needed more groveling, spontaneity, and yearning as ENEMIES

I am in love. So in love with this book. I am on a generational run rn.

I have multiple quotes from her saved for my Catalina moodboards. She is already my newfound favorite author. I’m excited to dive into her works and happy I was naturally awed and inspired by her.

I definitely was immersed and went back on my decision to not go on to the next book of the series. But as soon as it’s starting to pick up, you are introducing me to new characters and not tying up the knots and it’s leaving me to spiral!!! I care for Fitzs, cried when the dog died and Burrich got injured. I need to know what happened to Burrich, Molly, Verity getting married to a child???? Like cmon!!!

I am SO bored. Struggling to make it through. Every time I get interested in a plot, it doesn’t get pursued. What was the point of Chade, he taught him absolutely nothing about being an assassin. Now we’re onto Galen. Like UGH!!!

I am now realizing that there is scarcely any women characters in this book and I think that lackluster for me makes it very hard for me to push through the book but it’s picking up now. I like when he’s OUT and not browsing about the keep. Take me on an adventure, I don’t wanna be at home right now is the vibe I am on right now.

a little excessive worldbuilding and pretentious details, I am a little bored with it and I felt like it would’ve been a good storyline to have him take something from the king’s chamber.
