I'm currently staying in my Momma's old bedroom, and I've got to admit, it's kind of like other worldly reading a book from the 80s in a bedroom from the 80s.

I mean nothing's really changed in this room except for the bed covers.

It's giving me a warm kind of nostalgic feeling for a time I don't really know.

Pre-Thoughts: I've wanted to read this for forever! It used to be at my local library, but someone checked it out and it just never made its way back.

So I'm so excited that I was able to get my hands on the entire series!

This part always makes me smile so hard.

A talking, mail delivering owl, who seems to be playing match maker.

She calls him Hart-ache, and he calls her Merciless, and I love that fact so much! 🩵💐

Pre-Thoughts: This months book club read!

This one was my pick and I'm super excited to start, since I've been wanting to read this forever, and I am officially starting it today!

This one has been on my TBR for a long while and it's even been on my book tracker bingo card since I got it!

So fingers crossed that I love this book, because I already bought the other two books of the series lol.

I just got my copies of R. L. Stine's "The Babysitter" series, and I'm so excited!

I got them off Etsy for a pretty good price, and they look like they're in incredible condition.

All of them even have the book mail-order slips in the back!

These are so cool! I'm so excited!

Pre-Thoughts: Guess who found another book to add to this month's list of maybe reads? This girl!

It's another 90s horror, and this one sounds like a lot of fun.

My only problem is, what is with parents sending their kids to family members they've never met or haven't seen in years?

So, I've seen a few reviews complaining about Maratha, and I haven't gotten far in this book, but I can't stop thinking about how they're calling her whiny and annoying.

Maybe she is again, I haven't gotten far, but they're also acting like she doesn't have a right to be upset.

I'm sorry, but she and Conner both were just uprooted from everything they've ever known. I think they have the right to be upset.

No, sir, we're not doing that.

You seem like you love your daughter a lot, but what we're not going to do is make her feel guilty for feeling nervous about moving to a new place with new people.

I understand you want what's best for her, but you are not going to imply that she doesn't like your new wife when her whole life has just been turned upside down.

I think the only thing I have a problem with right now, is the lack of hugs between Mike and Sam.

And the reason, I don't like that, is because I think the reason Michael clung to Sam so much in the movie is because he was the one thing that didn't change around him, he just stayed his little brother, and I think that kept Michael grounded in more ways than one.

And I'm getting none of that right now.

Pre-Thoughts: I found this book and it's squeal while browsing Barnes and Nobel the other day.

It seemed like a lot of fun, and the summary kind of gives me "High Potential" vies, so I'm excited to give it a shot.

And I'm always a bit of a sucker for a Spy Romance lol

Pre-Thoughts: Okay, so I've never heard of this series and I have never heard of this author, but I read a few pages of this book and I instantly felt a wave of nostalgia that I haven't felt in forever when it's come to a book.

So I'm so excited to read it, because 80s and 90s horror is my jam, and I've been looking for books like this for forever!

Why do I feel so nostalgic over the fact that the chapters aren't numbers but instead words?

Is that weird? I feel like that's weird.

Pre-Thoughts: This is one of my all time favorite horror movies, and I'm over the moon that I was able to get a digital copy of it.

I've always loved Novelizations because I think they're so much fun and you get to see inside the characters' heads so it puts a whole new spin on what you already know is going to happen.

So like every other book I've gotten recently, I'm super excited to read it!

Pre-Thoughts: I've been looking forward to this book for a little while now, because I love romance, I love romcoms, and I love cozy mysteries.

And this has all of that, including a bit of the same vibe that "Murder, She Wrote" gives me.

So fingers crossed that it's good!

So I've got too many books I want to read at the moment, so I'm just going to mark them all as currently reading, throw them in a pile, and see who survives until the end of the month!

Pre-Thoughts: I've seen this book everywhere recently and I finally grabbed it while at Walmart today (alongside a few other books lol) and I'm excited to start it.
