Hoping to finish this by the end of the year to complete the reading challenge 🙌🏼 I'm really enjoying it so far, the storyline is kind of unpredictable and keeps you on your toes. Hoping it stays that way. Then again, a book by Marissa Meyer has never failed me.

I feel like this is going to be either great or really, really bad. Something made me put this book on my tbr, but now I'm doubting my past judgement. 😅

Besser als der erste Teil. Es zieht sich aber sehr. Bin mal gespannt aufs Ende.

Better than the movie

Den Film fand ich echt nicht gut, aber bisher gefällt mir das Buch sehr gut. Man versteht die Gedankengänge der Protagonisten viel besser und hat einen Einblick in die Sicht von Mr Darcy, was man im Film so gar nicht hatte.

"I have made my mark. Now it's time to sit back and enjoy it. And find true love. And a real life. Not one that is run on fear."
Sein Leben hat ihm so viel gegeben, aber seine Krankheit hat ihm so viel genommen. Dass er nicht mehr ein Jahr nachdem er das geschrieben hat stirbt, fühlt sich unglaublich unfair an.

Wie schafft es diese Frau, auch nach der aufgelösten (nicht) Inzestsituation, Szenen zu schreiben, in denen das Mädel ihrem wirklichen Bruder unangenehm nahe kommt??? Hör auf damit! *Ende vom rant*
