Someone give this author a TV deal I’m begging

Almost halfway through and all I feel like I’ve read is the women pining over men and despising them at the same time. The presence of the Forsaken being real tangible characters is a good addition. The three boys have plenty to do but not much has really changed

Lots of present influences here. Greek mythos, Egyptian lands and others I’m likely not aware of

Pacing is much better off from the start. Hoping this stays consistent.

This story is beautiful with amazing prose. Keema and Jun are so charming with their flaws. I am definitely missing the larger theater metaphor going on here though

This is a very fun read but I am lowkey lost on who the narrator is.

Braids have been tugged. Each one of the boys is better at talking to girls than the other. Nynaeve cannot control her anger for about 400 pages now.

Rand becoming a legend is fun. Mat is the best POV so far. The magic when the characters actually embrace it is fun. But this is the third book of them running away from all magic or their abilities because?

I hope this Selene arc is in this book only. They way her and Rand are written is annoying me to no end. Everything else is great though.

Yeah this is going to become a favorite series. I have needed this easy reading change of pace from some of the complex fantasy this year

Alright I’m sold on the hype.

This book just reads so smoothly. But if I had a nickel for every character Islington likes to give a hidden identity…. I’d have a lot of nickels

I love the parallels of Thomin and Sciona

I like the vibes, I like the characters even though I feel like I don’t know much about them. But I really don’t know where this is going

The backstory reveals are insane, why would you go to hell for this man

I’m convinced people who said this reads like a textbook haven’t read a textbook in a while. Very smooth read and funny premise

The plot is all over the place but I really like the main cast so it’s been a confusing ride but still good

Might be a little lost at the grand implications the plot points have on the story but man does Islington write really good plot twists

I love the sense of adventure I’m getting here, Islington is so good at placing these small reveals for the magic and the background of these characters. I wish it wasn’t all pretty much tied to memory loss but it’s still very fun.

Now I get the hype, it’s just big reveal after big reveal and it’s not skipping a beat

I prefer the direction this was going Davian and Wirr having the same POV made it really hard for Davian to develop
