Wow. Just wow. The style of writing is brilliant. And I can’t wait to hear Joseph’s backstory. 14 years of age and a father? 😲

I honestly don’t know whether I can finish this book. NOT because it’s no good, believe me! The writing is beautifully eloquent and I’m completely invested in the characters....I just feel like my heart is breaking over and over as I read each chapter. My emotions are all over the place. I’m sure I WILL read it all 😅 but a piece of this book will stay with me a long time after I put it down. Wow.

Still not sure about this. It just seems like too many things have happened through luck (the boys being in the principal’s office, the others out at the track) I’m still gripped but, so far, it’s not a book which I’d be recommending to others which I have done with Dear Charlie by ND Gomes.

I want to have a friend like Delilah!

It's all quite confusing up to now because I REALLY, REALLY want to hate Kez yet can't bring myself to actually do it.

It's so long since I was young(!) that I had forgotten quite how horrible some teenage girls can be. It's made for some really tough reading during Jess's chapters and, surprisingly, in Kez's chapters too. I hate Kez while I'm reading Jess's POV but then some feels come back when she tells of the same incidents from HER POV.

I could sort of see what was going to happen up until now and I've a good idea how the storyline is going to go from now on as it's quite predictable but Kasie's writing is addictive and she has a lovely way of making you feel all the feels for the main characters so yup, up to now, this is a good, easy read ☺️

This book is amazing! I was expecting a light, fluffy YA read and, woah, was I wrong about that! No spoilers but I'd advise some tissues beside you if you're thinking of reading this one!

After more than two months reading, I'm so sad to see the end of this series. Now I have to wait for the Winds of Winter with all the other ASOIAF fans
