Cedric is so Self centered. I really don’t like him. It’s always just: she saved me again, but I should be the one saving others. I’m only alive because of her. He doesn’t think, he is volatile in his alliances and than the chapter survivors guilt? Didn’t he see how bad Belien and Leona where? Not the best thoughts of him, even if it is understandable to a certain point.

He is an asshole. He is absolutely not the best in the crucible. He is human, he is not!!! inferior to everyone else. Why should he be the best and most fearless of them all? I don’t like him.

Cedric is really unsympathetic. Where did I miss, that he heard Elyrias name in the fire? Didn’t he say to himself, that he thought just of the reverent bc of the shadows and everything? Or should this ominous „she“ be Elyria?

I would love to read more about Elyrias past. The second trial isn’t enough! Cedric was s very narrow-minded. Can’t seem to warm up to him.

Prediction: Cedric and Elyria both will win
