I'm enjoying the development between Raleigh and Clara, and how they have this push and pull relationship. Like I too would not know what to do if I was forced to marry my mother's killer! But now I'm starting to wonder if he even killed her at all? 🫢

The ways Crozier unravels the secrets withheld from our FMC is just so clever - just enough to theorize while leaving enough questions to want to keep reading. I just hope the answers aren't too predictable!

This is so eerie and different from a lot of other vampire books I've read. Raleigh is truly a despicable character, I truly wonder how he's going to develop throughout the book, especially if he's meant to be considered as a love interest for Clara.
