Toying with DNFing. I hate Vidar, and in the story blurb it says Addie won't submit, yet she's submitted every fucking time so far

There was a scene on page 55 that had me questioning why I bought this book, and it's pretty much tainted the whole book.

Because of it, I'm not enjoying the banter.

It also is heavily seasoned with BBS which is a trope I despise.

If it doesn't improve soon, this is going into yhe DNF pile

So far it's cringey, I just skipped over chapter 9 completely.

Part of it it the narrator, I do not like the audio narration.

Never start another book in a series that you just DNF'd a previous book.

But also, I've read several books from this author now and I've DNF'd half and the others have only been 2/3☆s

The daddy kink is🤢🤮 I've heard it so many times now, I had to look up how many times it's used. 96 times, I'm starting chapter 14 and have already heard it 30 times. I may dnf this on that alone.

I don't normally mind age gaps, but the setup for this one is 😬

She was a virgin like 3 days ago and with no prep she's able to DVP. Well actually no, because she tells them how much it hurts, but they tell her they won't stop no matter what she says, but in the same breath they won't hurt her. ??????

Then immediately after they take her ass, which still hurts her, but she's "blissed out" afterwards.

He locks her in his penthouse and she just paces around? This whole series she's rebuked his money and status, she's a problem solver. Yet lock her in a penthouse after he tells her she's gotta be his dirty little secret and all her intelligence goes out the window over designer clothes of all things.

That penthouse should be on fire, not hosting project runway

I'm already mad that I paid $14 for this audiobook and I'm only on chapter 5.
