Great read. Kept my interest the whole way through-great historical account of the times (1940s-90s) and the Harlem community. Also sharing how racism, the police and their introduction of drugs contributed to the decline of Harlem’s community. Dapper Dan’s resilience, creativity and ingenuity is inspiring.
