I'm impressed. I thought this would be just another boring fantasy that turns out to bea romantasy that disappoints me. However, I decided to pick it up as a lot of people were saying how good it was and that it's not super romance heavy like I first was told. And to be honest, I'm hooked. Super excited to see where it goes in these last 130 pages.

I am really enjoying Red City, but with my mental health the way it is I just can't force myself to do the things I enjoy often. Instead, I sleep or force myself to do schoolwork. I am hoping to finish it by the end of November.

I love women. Even Evelyn. Especially Evelyn. She's easily hated yet easily loved.

I hate the "knees knocking together" thing every time they sit down together and Margaret's story reads like a textbook, but this is otherwise good!

If you need a silly goofy time (with a (straight) romance) read an Emily Henry book. This may already be my favorite one of hers so far. I've read Happy Place, Funny Story, and People We Meet on Vacation, in case that is necessary information. (I own Book Lovers and Beach Read but haven't read them yet)
