Terrible writing. Predictable pap. I may not finish.

Started off strong - I like the premise and initial hook. A short way in I started getting frustrated - characters don’t speak and act consistently and atm I’m in an extended backstory that doesn’t seem to add anything to the main plot (or at the very least doesn’t need to be as long as it is to get the point across).

On the whole, these stories are formulaic and disappointing. We’ll see how the last one turns out.
