Tbh I lowkey felt like my theory of him murdering someone in his place would have been cooler and better but oh well😔I did really love the news article at the end and it tying up the sister and the medicine overdose angle in the subtle way tho

Also the plot twist was fun not definitely notttt that surprising, tbh he was my first guess but like then I decided against it because he was a too young child and he did sounded genuine when he said he woke up much later😭but yeah, that did explained some things. My only problem is tho that- shouldn't the girls have told him about his beforehand? Before the start of the show? Seriously😭

and if he was, wouldn't it have made sense to have him talk to Howards??
and then, what about Luke Ryder case??? We went to the serial imposter thing BECAUSE we worked on the assumption he went accidentally in warzone because he was on a hit and run case. If we found out later that it wasn't him who did the accident, why would he run??? OK, could be he thought he did bc drunk or some other reason but why not mention

As for the cons- honestly, there were some loose ends which never tied up- like was the teenPreg thing which was really needed?😭 it was js brought up in the ending part of the chapter and then resolved(striked off?) In the next ep within pages AND WE DONT EVEN HAVE CONFIRMATION WHETHER OR NOT HE IS THE CHILD?? JS A BIT OF POINTING FINGERS😭

Obviously not something im blaming the author for and it did contain other stuff like images of posters and all😭 I did like how it read like a (fake obvs) true crime script and the the characters definitely sounded like how you would assume professionals to sound for the most part. And I meannn I did pulled an all nighter for this so hey

I don't think the creator is doing it deliberately but it still comes off as..off sometimes. Like there's only one Black guy and one woman in the expert team and the ch2 is just about POC struggles(which didn't matter in the grand scheme of things ig) while the rest of men also made some s e x I s t remarks towards the woman

On the other hand, can I js say the book comes off as token/forced rep at times??😭

I love the format and concept but I do feel like sometimes the author goes back to her habit of writing it like a traditional book because some Narration lines doesn't feel like a script of documentary tbh😭😭 does take it out of the story but not by much ofc. I did had a feeling it might be that mitch guy who might be the so them ending the chapter/Episode with that info was fun

Only finished the prequel part which is just the experts portfolio and now Ep 1 will start si let's see, rn alan looks a little suspicious. Hehe I can use this to keep track of clues and stuff >:D
