I enjoyed unpacking and talking about this book a lot more than I enjoyed reading it.

I enjoyed this much more than I expected and found jt quite funny! I loved the first 2/3 of the story (less so the ending).

The scenes of childhood were the most compelling to me. Pip’s anxiety and loneliness as a child, plus his understanding of adults, was so familiar and vivid. Funny in a way that really only comes from hindsight.
