I'm not loving it. MJ the main character is looking to rejuvenate her marriage by getting into her husband's hobby, poker. But then she becomes addicted, wins a local tournament and gets to go to Las Vegas. Her husband doesn't want to go with her, so she takes a bff. Just a middle age mom getting a hobby or an addiction? Its just annoying.
Thought I'd finish it but maybe I won't.

This is a nice book to pick up in-between books because it is written in short story form.

The main character is definitely a recent high school grad. Self absorbed but learning life lessons. So far it's overall a cute quirky story.

I'm having a hard time getting into this. Definitely a teen audience.

This isn't my typical genre but I'm making my way through the audiobook. It's my fall back when I don't have another book to listen to.

"Stormfront--America's most popular online white supremacist city founded in 1995 had its biggest increase in members on Nov. 5th 2008... the day Barack Obama won the election"! That information was a big shock to me and what a frustrating realization that our country has so much racism still. Not to mention that 64% of Stormfront users are under 30 years old. I hope to become more educated as I read this book.

Had to abandon this one. I heard heard it was a good book so I gave it a chance, but it was all about infidelity and excuses why it was ok.

abandoned the book.... it was too dark for me.

Decided to abandon this one. It started out light and cheery and funny, but then got kind of dark and one of the 2 main characters talked about his homosexual relations. I was disappointed in it.

I gave this book a try based on a friends recommendation. I just couldn't quite get through it. Lots of background history of horses mixed in with the narrative of the horse and his trainer.

so good, i dont want to put it down!

I guess fantasy is not my favorite genre. The book was due at the library and I was only about 1/2 way through so I returned it..

really enjoying this book so far

Tom was the link that kept old schoolmates connected but now that he's gone, the friends get together to remenice. I like the book so far
