This book has made me reflect and cry more than any book I have ever read. It is beautiful in its tragedy and thoroughness in the human condition. It is so real, raw, and devastating. It encapsulates so much emotion. This is definitely one of the great ones.

I really enjoy her writing style and the character Dr. Scarlet Clark. Funny, educated, and at times very serious. No nonsense at times and direct.
