Really curious how this book gonna progress cause so far it’s boring AF and for the world of me I can’t get into it and I don’t get how it got the Booker Prize this year

So far kinda meta and weird, let’s see how it goes

I am so far loving the dry British humour, but other than that tbh it’s kinda boringly written. Hopefully it gets better but so far it’s not really going anywhere

Listening to the audio book, so far kinda good and easy to follow, but that might be because I saw the movie first and it’s quite close script-wise

So far not loving it, but let’s see… it feels like if Dhar Mann tried to write a book where he made his basic points even more basic, while presenting them as these nuggets of wisdom. The first story was just bad - can’t believe someone would write a character so dumbfounded and oblivious to how the world works. I felt embarrassed for her and found her lack of common sense disturbing… but i keep on reading
